Overview
ProcessBarron’s prices for individual access doors include a cast ductile iron door, a cast ductile iron door frame, a rope-style door gasket, cast iron quick clamps, mounting hardware, and mastic. The words “DANGER OPEN WITH CAUTION” are cast in two places on the door for maximum safety.
Our cast ductile iron access doors are perfect for ducts, hoppers, fan housings, and other equipment that requires internal access for inspection or service. They’re designed with quick opening and tight shutoff, which is achieved by the compression of a fiberglass rope gasket groove-fitted into the frame face. This strong compression is maintained by adjustable quick release clamps mounted to the frame, which contact a wedge cast into the door face.
Adapter Frames
For all of our doors, we can furnish weldable adapter frames for existing installations that require access for inspection or service. They’re made of carbon steel, these frames can be furnished with all necessary bolts and gaskets.
Fiber Insulation
Our doors can be furnished with three-inch fiber insulation or castable refractory on the inside door face to reduce the outside door temperature. The fiberglass rope seal is capable of withstanding temperatures up to 1,200 degrees, although the recommended temperature for operation is up to 800 degrees.
Safety Chains
Safety chains should be ordered for all doors for maximum safety! They should be used in applications like hoppers and bins, where potentially dangerous material could be on or behind the door.
Your Branding
